Recipe Summary Gluten-Free Choc Chip Oatmeal Muffins
I took the original recipe found on this site and changed it up to be gluten-free and lower in sugar/fats. These muffins were highly praised, thinking these were too good to be gluten-free! I prefer to cut the fats and sugars in half by using applesauce and agave nectar.Ingredients | Keep It Cleaner Choc Banana Muffins¾ cup packed brown sugar¼ cup butter, softened1 egg1 cup gluten-free all-purpose baking flour1 tablespoon ground cinnamon1 teaspoon baking powder¼ teaspoon baking soda¼ teaspoon salt1 pinch ground allspice1 cup applesauce1 cup rolled oats, or more to taste1 cup semisweet chocolate chipsDirectionsPreheat oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C).
