This is wonderfully refreshing and thirst-quenching homemade flavored water. Ideal and healthy alternative to bought soda drinks.Ingredients | 1 Steel Glass Of Water In Ml½ small cucumber, sliced thin½ nectarine, pitted and chopped½ lemon, sliced½ lemon, juiced½ lime, sliced½ lime, juiced4 slices ginger root, peeled, or more to taste10 melissa leaves (lemon balm), or more to taste2 quarts water1 drop liquid stevia, or to taste (Optional)DirectionsPlace cucumber, nectarine, lemon slices, lemon juice, lime slices, lime juice, ginger, and melissa leaves in a large pitcher; mash gently with a wooden spoon. Pour in water, stir, and refrigerate until flavors blend, 2 hours to overnight. Strain; serve over ice.I prefer to use organic lemons and limes.Melissa leaves can be substituted with fresh mint leaves; lime substituted with slices and juice of a red grapefruit; and nectarine substituted with peach, if desired.If you like your water fizzy, add some sparkling mineral water as well.Pitcher can be refilled with water 1 to 2 more times before it loses flavor.
